White Sox center fielder Luis Robert Jr. was originally scratched ahead of Sunday’s 2-1 loss to the Rangers with right thumb soreness. Robert said he hurt his thumb on his fourth-inning RBI single to center field in Saturday’s loss, but he doesn’t seem concerned it’s a long-term issue. Manager Will Venable said Robert wouldn’t have been able to bat Sunday. “I have him penciled in the lineup for Tuesday, give him the day and see where he’s at,” Venable said.
