PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: May 16th, 2026
1) Former Vikings Quarterback Announces Retirement: The journeyman depth option genuinely overcame the odds. A tip of the cap to Taylor Heinicke. Any passer who goes undrafted before then carving out a long career in the NFL is someone who knows how to hustle, learn, and overcome adversity.

2) The Vikings’ Quarterback Trade Brought a Super Fast Corner to Town: Trading for Sam Howell made at least some sense. After all, he was a still-young passer who boasted experience as a starter who could slide into the QB2 job behind J.J. McCarthy. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out, leading to a trade that then resulted in being able to draft a long-and-strong corner.
3) A Minnesota Vikings 53-Man Roster Prediction: Putting out a roster prediction that gets a minimum of 50 guesses correct means doing a great job. Obviously, the spring edition is different from the ones that arrive later on. Swing back around to see the final prediction ahead of the great descent down to 53 players.

4) A Fantastic Vikings Problem Just Keeps Getting Worse: Each and every NFL GM wants to have the problem that the Vikings are looking to overcome. Drafting a young fella who quickly becomes so elite that he’ll demand a pricey extension is what every GM wants out of every draft pick.
5) Vikings Sign a New Linebacker: The roster shuffle is an ongoing process. Bringing a new linebacker to town makes sense given the news surrounding the more well-known Scooby Williams. So, give DC Brian Flores another young ‘backer to work with in the coming weeks and months.
