The Atlanta Braves will send right-hander Grant Holmes to the mound on Sunday afternoon in an effort to sweep their three-game series with the visiting Colorado Rockies. A win would give the Braves momentum heading into next week’s series against the National League East-leading New York Mets. Atlanta has won three games in a row for the first time since May 6 following Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Colorado. The Rockies, in turn, have lost seven of their last eight games.
