After 12 seasons in the big leagues, former New York Mets catcher Wilson Ramos is hanging up his cleats for good. On Sunday, Ramos signed a one-day contract to officially retire as a member of the Washington Nationals. Ramos, 37, made two All-Star appearances and earned one Silver Slugger Award between 2016 and 2018. Heading into the 2019 season, he joined the Mets in free agency on a two-year, $19 million deal.
