Although some of the biggest names of the Kansas City Chiefs defense are set to return for the 2025 season, it’s hard not to feel like defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s group has a bit of a new look. Quite a few players will be stepping into new leadership roles in the upcoming season, but before camp began Spagnuolo emphasized to his guys the importance of appreciating every moment. The message was that camp can be grueling at times, especially one run by head coach Andy Reid, but you never know how many you have left. “The first meeting we had with a defense the other night, I just felt compelled to tell them to not ever take this for granted,” Spagnuolo said.
