Brian Schottenheimer: Cowboys offense to add in pistol and wildcat formation

In his first year as Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenhemier is adding new wrinkles to the offense led by quarterback Dak Prescott. As the team opened up training camp this week with Schottenheimer finally taking over the reigns as the lead man for the franchise, he told reporters this week that he’s going to be adding the pistol and wildcat formations to the offense. The biggest addition for the Cowboys offense this offseason was acquiring wide receiver George Pickens from Pittsburgh, but they also rebuilt their running back room with veterans Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders.
