New York Giants receiver ‘devastated’ as torn Achilles ends season

New York Giants

New York Giants wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton has unfortunately been through this before, but it does not make the pain of going down with a serious Achilles injury once more any less gut-wrenching. Ford-Wheaton suffered a torn Achilles during Sunday’s practice, the second time in his trio of NFL seasons a serious leg injury has sidelined him for the year before Week 1. Over the weekend, Ford-Wheaton appeared to suffer the injury in non-contact fashion, hitting the turf during an offensive snap. The former West Virginia standout tore his ACL in August 2023, missing all of his rookie season.
