This might be Giants legend Barry Bonds’ craziest stat ever

San Francisco Giants

The back of Barry Bonds’ baseball card is full of stats that absolutely boggle the mind. But there’s one statistic that you wouldn’t find there that might be the craziest of them all. It involves the amount of times Bonds was intentionally walked with first base occupied. Usually, an opponent will use an intentional walk when that base is open. But with Bonds, it didn’t matter. Bonds was intentionally walked 81 times in his career with first-base occupied, by far the most since 1955, when intentional walks were officially tracked.
