Struggling Mets offense hits back-to-back-to-back home runs vs. Phillies

New York Mets

The New York Mets offense, which scored just seven runs in the last five games during a seven-game losing streak, broke out in a big way early in a nationally-televised showdown against the Phillies Saturday night. Franciso Lindor, Brandon Nimmo and Juan Soto hit home runs on consecutive at-bats against Phillies rookie Mick Abel to start the third inning. The back-to-back-to-back home runs erased a 3-1 deficit and gave the Mets a 4-3 lead.
