After a clubbing a 423-foot home run in Saturday night’s win over the Cincinnati Reds, Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo revealed he has been battling through some discomfort in his hand. Perdomo said he has been playing through a bone bruise on his left hand for “months” but that he can manage the pain and push through the rest of the season. “I remember I made a diving catch out here, and my hand was in a really weird spot,” Perdomo said. Perdomo has been a lineup staple, having played 129 of 130 games this season.
