It appears the Red Sox clubhouse is leaving the past in the past. After Boston stunningly traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants, many players admitted they were shocked, but knew they needed to have the “next man up” mentality because Devers was just one player out of 26. During his weekly appearance on WEEI, manager Alex Cora was asked whether he was surprised how quickly his team moved on from the Devers trade. “The less you talk about the subject, the better it is for the clubhouse, for the team,” Cora said.
