Florida State released its first-ever availability report on Wednesday, with running backs Kam Davis and Roydell Williams amongst the players listed out, with Jayvan Boggs, Caleb LaVallee and Kevin Wynn listed as questionable:
Friday’s matchup will feature two of the country’s most prolific offenses through four weeks of play. FSU currently holds the nation’s No. 1 scoring offense at 58 points per game, with Virginia’s 45.5 points putting it at No. 11 overall. Florida State’s 628.7 yards per game are also a national best, with Virginia sitting fifth with a 564.5 yards per game average. Virginia is one of only two FBS teams (alongside USC) with at least 1000 yards rushing and 1,200 yards passing.
According to PFF, FSU has the No. 12 offense in the country with an 85 overall, grading Virginia as No. 15 with an 84.7.

Florida State men’s basketball’s game against Georgia in the ACC/SEC Challenge on December 2, 2025 will begin at 9:00 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network.

Florida State advanced to its ninth straight NCAA tournament in 2025 as a member of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association, a conference it won seven times. The Seminoles have reached the NCAA tournament each year since its inception in 2016 and three times have played in the National Championship final: 2016, 2018 and 2022.
FSU will face Arizona State and Boise State for the first time this season. Currently, the Noles are undefeated against Arizona and South Carolina with 2-0 and 25-0 records, respectively. Florida State has a 14-6 all-time lead against TCU as well.
