ESPN’s Ryan Clark says Bengals look like Bishop Sycamore

Pittsburgh Pirates

ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark slammed the Cincinnati Bengals after their 28-3 loss to the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on Monday Night Football.

“Joe Burrow can’t fix this,” Clark said on “SportsCenter.” “Joe Burrow didn’t fix this in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns offensively. They don’t protect. They don’t play good professional football as it comes to not making mistakes. … This team didn’t look like they wanted it. … What was the fake high school? The fake high school that was going around playing the top high schools? Bishop Sycamore, or something like that? That’s who the Bengals look like right now: Bishop Sycamore. … This team almost did not show up.”

“When you get one team that gets over 500 yards and the other team doesn’t get 200 yards, that means the team that had 500 yards was prepared to execute, and the other was not,” Clark added.

MNF’s Joe Buck said during the game broadcast that the Bengals didn’t compete, and Troy Aikman added that Cincinnati’s effort was embarrassing.
