As the Chargers (8-4) returned from their Week 12 bye following a blowout 35-6 loss to the Jaguars, the Chargers bounced back with a dominant 31-14 win over the blundering Raiders (2-10) from SoFi Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 30.
Overall, the Chargers outgained the Raiders by a wide yardage margin of 341-156, with Los Angeles’ offensive output generating 192 yards of rushing and 149 yards of passing en route to four touchdowns on the day.
While Justin Herbert suffered a minor middle finger injury to his left hand, the former Oregon Duck put up a respectable 151 yards on 15-for-20 completions, with two touchdowns and one interception to improve on his career-low 81 yards passing against the Jaguars on Dec. 16.
Kimani Vidal led the rushing attack with 126 yards and 1 touchdown on 25 carries, while Jaret Patterson scored the first touchdown since 2021 to go along with his 54 yards on 11 carries.
On the other end, the Raiders were held very much out of sync, recording only 125 passing yards and 46 rushing yards, while throwing one interception and taking 5 sacks on 9 quarterback hits.
With Chargers fans relishing in the Week 13 victory, here are some of the best social media reactions to the win:
There are more Chargers fans than Raiders fans at today’s game. The Raiders still have a lot of fans in L.A. but I don’t think they’re nearly as popular in L.A. as people think. It makes sense. They last played a home game in L.A. in 1994 and last won a playoff game in 2003. pic.twitter.com/5f6gqURUPW
