The Kansas City Chiefs made a series of roster moves this afternoon ahead of their Week 14 matchup against the Houston Texans on ‘Sunday Night Football.’

Veteran defensive back Mike Edwards has been signed to the Chiefs’ 53-man roster to take the place of Chris Roland-Wallace, who was placed on Kansas City’s injured reserve list.

The Chiefs also elevated offensive lineman C.J. Hanson from their practice squad, which will shore up the depth of Kansas City’s front-five in Week 14.

These crucial roster moves were officially announced in a post to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account on Saturday, December 6:

Edwards was a member of Kansas City’s Super Bowl LVIII roster and could prove to be a key difference-maker for the Chiefs in the final weeks of the regular season.

Hanson was selected by Kansas City in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL draft, but has only seen the field for a handful of snaps during his tenure with the Chiefs.

Stay tuned to see if Edwards and Hanson will make their presence felt during the Texans on ‘Sunday Night Football.’
