Alex Bregman (right quad strain) would not say an exact target date to return from the injured list. The Red Sox internally are doubtful he will be able to return by the end of June but hopeful he’ll be back by the All-Star Break. Bregman — who typically arrives by 11 a.m. at the park each day to rehab — is not expected to travel with the team to the West Coast. Both Cora and Bregman initially said May 24 that the injury’s severity was similar to the left quad strain that he suffered in 2021 that kept him on the IL from June 17-Aug. 25.
