More than a month after hitting the injured list with an arm injury, Red Sox starter Tanner Houck is on the verge of beginning the final step before returning. Houck will make a rehab start at Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, manager Alex Cora said Sunday, and is expected to pitch two or three innings. Houck, who has been out since mid-May with a flexor pronator strain in his pitching arm, will likely need a full innings build-up before returning to the majors. Houck will face Buffalo at Polar Park on Wednesday night.
