The Houston Astros have had a pretty exceptional amount of depth in their farm system, which they have been able to call upon in various scenarios throughout the 2025 season. This is a mix of both young prospects who are working their way up the ranks and veterans who are just vying for a chance to make an MLB roster again. One of the key veteran pieces who has been working in Triple-A this year is Luis Castro, an infielder who has spent time in a couple of different spots over the years, but is yet to make his MLB debut. Over the course of the last week, Castro has been absolutely unstoppable for Triple-A Sugar Land and was even awarded Pacific Coast League Player of the Week according to a team announcement.
