Baby is coming! Pirates’ star leaves game in Detroit after wife goes into labor

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds left Tuesday’s loss to the Detroit Tigers in Detroit in the second inning after his wife went into labor, the team announced. Reynolds, a 2-time All-Star, struck out to end the top of the first. Reynolds, who had been expecting his third child for days, is expected to be added to the paternity list. According to the Associated Press, Pirates manager Don Kelly expects Reynolds to rejoin the team for this weekend’s home series against the Texas Rangers.
