Wednesday night’s game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field was postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of split doubleheader on Monday, Aug. 18. Game 2, the original game scheduled for Aug. 18, will remain with a 7:05 p.m. start time. Chicago, which won the series opener, 5-3, on Tuesday night, announced that right-hander Jameson Taillon (7-3, 3.48 ERA), who was scheduled to start Wednesday night’s contest, will get the nod for Thursday afternoon’s series finale.
