The 2025 MLB trade deadline is more than a month away, but speculation about where the top available players could end up come July 31 is ramping up. In his latest round-up predicting where this year’s prime trade candidates will end up, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com links two players to the Mets. One is Nationals reliever Kyle Finnegan, who is pitching to a 3.12 ERA with eight saves in 26 appearances. Feinsand also links the Mets to White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr. — a name that has been mentioned in connection to New York several times as trade rumors continue.
