Nearly nobody in the baseball community saw the Boston Red Sox trading star slugger Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants on June 15 coming. This makes one wonder whether any other unexpected blockbuster trades could be taking place between now and the July 31 deadline, along with whether the New York Mets could be on the receiving end of such a deal.
