Unlikely hero comes through for walkoff hit in 11th for Cardinals

St. Louis Cardinals

It came from an unlikely source, but the St. Louis Cardinals got just enough to finish off a come-from-behind 6-5 win on Saturday over the Cincinnati Reds. The win was the fifth straight for St. Louis, as they have surged to 42-35 on the season. After trailing 5-2 heading into the eighth inning, they scored two in the eighth, and Nolan Arenado hit his 351st career home run to send the game to extra innings. After loading the bases in the 10th with no one out and failing to score, St. Louis needed some 11th-inning magic.
