The Giants announced on Tuesday afternoon that top prospect Bryce Eldridge has sustained a moderate right hamstring strain and will rehab in Arizona for the next three-to-four weeks. Eldridge, 20, was promoted from Double-A Richmond to Triple-A Sacramento earlier this month. The first baseman left in the fifth inning of last Saturday’s game alongside a trainer after hitting a double against the Salt Lake Bees. Prior to sustaining the injury, Eldridge was hitting .230/.284/.426 with three homers and 13 RBIs for the River Cats.
