Yankees make huge Spencer Jones decision with 6-foot-7 slugging outfielder

The New York Yankees, of course, already have a 6-foot-7 slugging outfielder at the MLB level. And now, they’ve got one just a single step away. The Yankees have promoted Spencer Jones to Triple-A, according to SNY’s Andy Martino . Jones, a former first-round pick out of Vanderbilt, was on fire in June, with seven homers and an OPS over 1.000 at Double-A Somerset. He had 16 homers on the season before his promotion.
