In Saturday’s 9-6 win, Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley recorded a piece of team history. The Tahlequah native, and former Northeastern State University standout, struck out one hitter and secured his 16th save of the season. It was also the 100th save of his seven-year career with the Cardinals.
