Astros call up former Mets, Red Sox, Braves infielder amid injuries

Houston Astros

One of the largest issues plaguing the Houston Astros is their injury bug. Despite leading the AL West, the Astros have seen multiple starters in the rotation and in the lineup go down with an injury. Amid all of their injuries, the Astros announced a roster move to add a journeyman infielder who’s spent time with the Boston Red Sox, the New York Mets,  and the Atlanta Braves. Houston is selecting Zack Short and bringing him up to the Major Leagues, as Luis Guillorme is going on the injured list with a right hamstring strain.
