The Los Angeles Dodgers didn’t bring their best stuff on what ended up being a historic night at Dodger Stadium, but they still found a way to win as they so often do. In the end, it was Freddie Freeman who came up with the big hit to seal the deal. After Shohei Ohtani stole second base to get into scoring position, Freeman ripped a two-out walk-off base hit into right field to drive him in and give the Dodgers the win. Freeman was selected as the starter at first base for the National League in the All-Star Game this month, edging out New York Mets star Pete Alonso.
