Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr. lost money by attending MLB All-Star Game

This past week, that especially rang true for star San Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. As the star at first wasn’t selected by the fans to start along with teammate Manny Machado, and didn’t trust his chances in the player vote, Tatis Jr. decided to spoil himself by booking a well-earned vacation. Lo and behold, the star Padre was selected to his third career All-Star Game as a reserve, putting a slight divot in his plans. “I’m not going to lie, I already had a hotel booked somewhere where I can relax and chill during the break,” Tatis Jr. said shortly after his selection.
