Lions’ Levi Onwuzurike to miss preseason, at least first 4 games of regular season

The Detroit Lions made a flurry of injury-related transactions Thursday, including placing defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, which means his preseason is over and he will be sidelined for at least the first four games of the 2025 season. Hundreds of kids turn out for Lions WR Jameson Williams’ youth football camp at ND Prep It’s unknown what injury Onwuzurike is dealing with. Onwuzurike’s absence is a blow to the Lions, who were likely going to lean on the versatile defensive lineman while Alim McNeill (knee) recovered from the torn ACL he suffered in December.
