The Detroit Lions made a flurry of injury-related transactions Thursday, including placing defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, which means his preseason is over and he will be sidelined for at least the first four games of the 2025 season. Onwuzurike’s absence is a blow to the Lions, who were likely going to lean on the versatile defensive lineman while Alim McNeill (knee) recovered from the torn ACL he suffered in December.
