Chiefs’ Isiah Pacheco Scouts ‘Phenomenal’ Running Back Room

The Kansas City Chiefs’ run game last season left a lot to be desired, ranking 26th for yards per game, but there were a couple of contributing factors. Isiah Pacheco got injured in Week 2, leading the Chiefs to sign Kareem Hunt off the couch to headline the run game, and when Pacheco did return from his injury, he wasn’t his usual self. As such, the Chiefs this offseason went about adding some more elements to the run game, signing Elijah Mitchell to bring speed to the rushing attack, and rookie Brashard Smith, who brings speed and receiving ability to the group.
