After Detroit Lions 2025 first-round pick Tyleik Williams was unexpectedly absent from Friday’s practice he made his return for Saturday’s full-pad practice. Coach Dan Campbell revealed just before players took to the practice fields that Williams missed Friday’s session due to “personal reasons.” It seemed unlikely Williams was dealing with an injury as he spoke with reporters on Thursday and said he was “100%” and “full go” after dealing with an offseason injury that kept him limited in the spring. Williams’ role for his rookie season already appears to be larger than expected as the Lions deal with extensive injuries to their interior defensive line.
