Josh McDaniels certainly knows how to develop slot receivers. During his time as the Patriots offensive coordinator, McDaniels coached several standouts such as Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, and Danny Amendola. This offseason, undrafted free agent Efton Chism III has looked the part of a solid NFL slot receiver. Although the rookie is on the roster bubble, he has shown promise during his first NFL offseason with the Patriots.
