Kroeger, 6-3, 213, joins New Orleans after spending the offseason with the New York Jets, who signed him as a free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft out of South Carolina. The Lake Forest, Ill. native served as the Gamecocks’ starting punter for five seasons (2020-2024), emerging as one of the top punters in school history. Over his career, he recorded 265 punts for 11,823 yards (44.6 avg.) with a long of 79 yards and 100 downed inside the 20 yard-line, earning All-SEC and All-America honors in both 2022 and 2024. Kroeger also completed 7-of-10 pass attempts for 205 yards with three touchdowns and owns four of the 11 punts of 70 yards or more by a Gamecock since 1979.
