The Chicago White Sox reinstated right-handed pitcher Shane Smith from the 15-day injured list ahead of the team’s series opener at the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. Chicago also selected the contract of outfielder Corey Julks from Triple-A Charlotte and optioned outfielder Will Robertson to Triple-A.
