Falcons lock up former 1st-round right tackle to $30 million extension

The Atlanta Falcons are preparing for a pivotal 2025-26 season, as they try to figure out how to return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign. Atlanta and veteran right tackle Kaleb McGary have agreed to a two-year, $30 million contract extension, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Pro Bowl running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 1,456 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024-25. Michael Penix Jr. is entering his first full season as the starting quarterback.
