August 13 – New Orleans Saints center Will Clapp has been placed on season-ending injured reserve due to a foot injury suffered in the team’s first preseason game. Clapp was carted off the field just a few plays into the Saints’ preseason opener against the Chargers on Sunday. NFL Network reported Tuesday that he suffered a Lisfranc injury in his right foot which will require season-ending surgery.
