The Emirates NBA Cup in-season tournament hasn’t been kind to the Bulls during the first two years of its existence, and Year 3 doesn’t appear any easier.
The team announced the four-game pool-play schedule Wednesday.
The Bulls open Cup play Oct. 31 at home against the Knicks. Their second game is close by — in Milwaukee against the Bucks on Nov. 7. They’ll host the Heat on Nov. 21 and wrap up pool play on the road against the Hornets on Nov. 28.

All 30 teams randomly were drawn into six groups of five within their conferences based on win-loss records from the 2024-25 regular season to ensure a relatively balanced distribution of stronger and weaker teams across the groups. The Bulls were put in East Group C.
There will be three group winners and one wild-card making it from each conference to the single-elimination knockout rounds, beginning Dec. 9 and 10.
The semifinals and final again will take place in Las Vegas. The Bulls have yet to escape pool play since the Cup started.
