Patriots Super Bowl champ cut by Houston Texans

Houston Texans

After struggling to get healthy this summer, Trent Brown has been released by the Texans, per multiple reports. The massive tackle began the summer on the PUP list in Houston and could never got on the field. KPRC’s Aaron Wilson reports Brown was close to returning from a torn patellar tendon that he suffered with the Bengals last season, but apparently has run out of time. A Super Bowl LIII champion with the Patriots, the 32-year-old Brown had two stints in Foxborough (2018, 2021-23).
