The Denver Broncos stand to be one of the contending teams in the AFC in 2025, but one of the team’s biggest questions heading into the season lies at the wide receiver position. The Broncos kept only five wide receivers on the 53-man roster, but the team was reminded of just how shaky that situation could be when Marvin Mims Jr. was slowed by a groin injury last week. The Broncos can ill-afford an injury at that position, which is why it’s still a bit mystifying that the team did not add any of the young wide receivers they had in camp to the practice squad. The Broncos did add A.T. Perry and Michael Bandy to the practice squad, but the team obviously isn’t satisfied with the collective group it has at the position and decided to add another one on Tuesday, signing Thayer Thomas to the practice squad.
