Will your local station have Saints-49ers? Check the Week 2 broadcast map

New York Yankees

Will your local station have the New Orleans Saints game this week? The Saints are set to kick off at Noon CT with the San Francisco 49erse on Sunday, Sept. 14 from the Caesars Superdome, and local Fox affiliates will be carrying the game in much of Louisiana and the Gulf South. But not in Shreveport. Fans in northwest Louisiana will instead have the Dallas Cowboys’ grudge match with the New York Giants on their station, per the broadcast map from 506sports.

It isn’t unusual for that far corner bordering Texas to get the Cowboys game instead (it happened last year in Weeks 17 and 18, and twice between 2023 and 2022), but it’s still disappointing. You’d think the team that has worn a Louisiana patch on their jerseys would be shown in all of Louisiana. But until the Saints are playing competitive football again and winning a lot of games, demanding the spotlight be put on them, they’ll continue to lose out in decisions like this.

So where will the Saints-49ers game be shown? Most of Louisiana and Mississippi will carry it, as well as southwest Alabama and the Florida panhandle. All of California and Utah will be tuning in along with large swaths of Nevada (outside Las Vegas), Idaho, and parts of rural Oregon and Wyoming. That’s Taysom Hill country. You can check for yourself in the areas marked in yellow on the 506sports broadcast map:
