Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is usually dangerous on the ground. But he just showed the No. 17 Texas A&M Aggies he can also be a weapon in the passing game for the No. 8 Fighting Irish.
Fighting Irish quarterback CJ Carr found Love on a swing pass at the same time the Aggies’ defensive coverage lost track of him. The wide-open Love sprinted towards the end zone and crossed the goal line just as he was being tackled.
This completed a 6-play, 75-yard drive that took 2:40 off of the clock. The extra point gave the Irish a 24-14 lead.
The Irish score was a nice answer after the Aggies dove for a score a bit too easily against the Irish defense.
