Luka Doncic is about to start his first full season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he has big goals in mind.

One in particular will make Lakers fans very happy.

According to Dave McMenamin, Doncic is intent on winning a championship with LA.

Doncic has always been a tough competitor, but he seems more locked in lately.

When last season ended in disappointment for the Lakers, Doncic took some time off to focus on his physicality, and the work paid off.

He is now slimmed down, toned, and strong.

His time at EuroBasket showed that Doncic is in incredible shape right now, and that’s nothing but great news for the Lakers.

Last season was a whirlwind for Doncic, and he needed time to get used to being in LA after spending his entire career with the Dallas Mavericks.

Doncic played very well, but he could do even better in 2025-26.

He has had more time to adjust, accept his new reality, work on his body, and get even closer to his teammates.

Now he will enter the season as the leader of the team, which is amazing considering he is playing alongside LeBron James.

Doncic wanted to become a champion with the Mavericks, and he came close, but not close enough.

Now, with a better body, a strong roster around him, and one of the greatest players of all time by his side, Doncic could actually claim his first title.
