Auburn football learned of its permanent schedule fixtures earlier this week. Now, they know the full slate of conference teams they will play over the next four seasons.
The SEC revealed the new-look, nine-game SEC schedule that each team will face during the 2026-29 seasons. Under the new conference scheduling format, each Auburn will play every SEC team at least twice over the next two seasons, and will visit every SEC venue at least once between the 2026 and 2029 seasons. Auburn will face three opponents in each of the next four seasons: Alabama, Georgia, and Vanderbilt, and will play the likes of Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida, and LSU more often.
The 2026 and 2028 seasons will be tough for the Tigers as Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Florida will appear on its schedule. In 2026, Auburn will visit Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee as part of its five-game road skid against SEC opponents. Auburn will face Texas for the first time since the Longhorns joined the SEC in 2024, with Auburn traveling to Austin in 2027 and hosting the Longhorns in 2029.
As it stands, Auburn will face Baylor, Southern Miss, and Jacksonville State as part of its nonconference schedule in 2026, in addition to facing Alabama, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, and LSU in SEC play.
Final dates for when Auburn will face each 2026 opponent will be announced at a later date.
