It appears that the Utah Mammoth have two new alternate logos pending approval from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
A company called “SEG Hockey, LLC” filed trademark applications on Sept. 22 for two full-body mammoth designs closely related to the Utah Mammoth’s branding. The same company filed a trademark on May 7 for the Mammoth’s current logos, which likely indicates that it’s Smith Entertainment Group.
All of the logos — both the active ones and these new ones — show as both “live” and “pending” on the USPTO website.
Hate to ruin any surprises, but two new logos registered for the team. pic.twitter.com/fH8K1L8tj7

The new logos are closely related to two other designs recently seen in Mammoth circles: one at the new practice facility and the other on goaltender Jaxson Stauber’s mask.
Possibly a new logo and new slogan here? https://t.co/HaQTp3SI26pic.twitter.com/3NH5UogqSQ
