Adonai Mitchell pulled a DeSean Jackson on Sunday during the Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Rams game, costing his team seven points.
On what appeared to be a 75-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Jones to Mitchell, the young receiver dropped the ball at the goal line while celebrating a bit too early. He fumbled it through the end zone for a touchback, turning what should’ve been a touchdown into a massive break for the Rams.
The score would’ve put the Colts up 17-13 on the Rams but instead, Los Angeles took over at their own 20-yard line with a three-point lead still.
Here’s a look at the play after Mitchell beat the Rams deep and shook off the tackle attempt by Emmanuel Forbes Jr.

If the Rams go on to win this game, this is a play to remember because it was incredibly costly for the Colts.
