Bronny James came to the Los Angeles Lakers as one of the most talked-about NBA rookies of all time.
Much of that was out of his control, and he seemed comfortable being under such a bright spotlight.
James has faced a ton of criticism since before he even entered the league, and it won’t stop now.
Kwame Brown recently spoke about James, and he didn’t hold back.
“Bronny was never the best high school player on his team. He was the never the best college player on his team,” Brown said.

In the eyes of many, James has underperformed.
But their opinion is mostly because of who his father is.
In reality, James has performed about as well as expected, if not a bit better, for someone chosen as the No. 55 pick in the draft.
Last season, his first in the league, James averaged 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists.
He has done well in certain Summer League and G League games, but his performances during regular-season matches have been mostly lacking.
But James is still young, and there is always time to grow.
No matter what happens, there will always be people critiquing James and saying that he isn’t worthy of being with the Lakers.
Some fans find it unfair, while others feel it’s appropriate.
At this point, James has heard it all, and he has accepted what people think about him.
He will attempt to improve his game and keep earning his place with the Lakers alongside his dad.
