Iowa (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten) is readying for its rivalry clash at Wisconsin (2-3, 0-2 Big Ten). The biggest question has been whether or not graduate quarterback Mark Gronowski would be able to play for the Hawkeyes after sustaining a left knee injury late against Indiana.
Iowa shared great injury news ahead of its showdown against the Badgers. Gronowski wasn’t listed on the pregame availability report, signaling that the 6-foot-2, 235-pound graduate quarterback is available and will play at Wisconsin.
Iowa listed sophomore running back Terrell Washington Jr., junior running back Jaziun Patterson, sophomore wide receiver Jarriett Buie, graduate cornerback Shahid Barros and graduate linebacker Jaden Harrell were all listed out.
Iowa’s availability report also signals that sophomore wide receiver Reece Vander Zee is set to make his season debut.

Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Badgers’ pregame availability report revealed that starting quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. is once again sidelined. Edwards didn’t play against Michigan with his own knee injury. Wisconsin turned to backup quarterback Hunter Simmons, a transfer from Southern Illinois.
Simmons completed 18-of-29 passes for 177 yards with one interception.
The Badgers also listed D’Yoni Hill, Joseph Griffin Jr., Preston Zachman, Evan Van Dyn Hoven, Kevin Heywood, Leyton Nelson, Barrett Nelson, Emmett Bork and Torin Pettaway as out. Dekel Crowdus and Charles Perkins are questionable for Wisconsin.
