Set to meet Florida State this week, Alabama basketball is gearing up to give fans their first look at the Crimson Tide since its run to the Elite Eight.

Nate Oats’ 2025-26 basketball team has nine new faces between freshmen Amari Allen, Davion Hannah, London Jemison and Collins Onyejiaka and transfers Taylor Bol Bowen − who came from Florida State − Keitenn Bristow (Tarleton State), Noah Williamson (Bucknell) and Jalil Bethea (Miami), who won’t appear due to a lingering foot injury, and Preston Murphy Jr. (Northern Oklahoma College).



Returning members include Labaron Philon Jr., Aden Holloway, Houston Mallette and Aiden Sherrell.

When and where is Alabama basketball playing Florida State?

Alabama men’s basketball will play at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 16 in the historic Boutwell Auditorium, which was built in 1924 as Birmingham’s Municipal Auditorium. The address is located at 1930 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr Boulevard in Birmingham.

Making their first-ever appearance in the showcase, Alabama’s women will tip off earlier in the day at 12 p.m. CT.

Boutwell Auditorium offers limited seating, holding 6,000 at full capacity, but tickets are still available online. Days before the event, prices dropped to $30 to $50 to get in the door.
