Enzo Maresca – Cole Palmer

In Friday’s press conference, Chelsea Blues coach Enzo Maresca confirmed some very bad news for Cole Palmer.

Initially, Cole Palmer’s return from injury was expected in November. However, it now appears the English midfielder will be sidelined for an additional six weeks due to a groin injury. Speaking to the media on Friday, Enzo Maresca was clear: “I was mistaken about Palmer. Unfortunately, he still needs to be out for six more weeks.”

The Italian manager emphasized the importance of being cautious with his attacking midfielder’s injury: “We are doing our best to protect Cole as much as possible. The main thing is that he comes back fully fit. Our medical team isn’t miraculous. We hope six weeks will be enough. We have to take things step by step. But rest assured, he will be fine.”
